I’m Sandra Gunniga Thomson (แซนดรา กรรณิการ์ ทอมซอน), a mixed Thai/Anglo freelance illustrator living and working on Gadigal land.

I like to make cute, yet mysterious art inspired by nature, literature, and my own experiences & relationship to the world. Most of all, I hope that my art is able inspire a sense of curiosity and whimsy in the viewer - I’m a strong believer in cuteness also being able to contain complexity for those who wish to find it! 𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶཐི༏ཋྀ󠀮

My user @chanohmyen - comes from “cha nom yen” (ชานมเย็น) which is also known as Thai milk tea. My favourite version of which includes orange blossom in the mix…

I am most interested in taking on narrative, editorial, or branding illustration work, though am open to discussing any projects where you might have my art in mind!
